Tackle Breaker Sled

THE TACKLE-BREAKER SLED:
The Tackle-Breaker is unique and unlike any other running tunnel. Break through the arms of the Tackle-Breaker and gain extra yardage! By generating enough force to break open the arms of the Tackle-Breaker, your players gain hundreds of first down generating repetitions. Each Power-Arm simulates not just stripping the ball but making a tackle.

"We use the Tackle Breaker Sled with the S-Pads, Hit-tech, and the Swinging Dummy. I call it the "Monster Works." It's a heck of a piece of equipment. We drill our backs and DLs on the sled. We do a variety of drills, from pass rush and tackling with our DLs, to ball security, inside & outside runs, evasive open-field moves, and short yardage runs with our RBs. The swinging bag allows for a wide variety of drills. I really like how the pads are set low and that they are removable for storage when the season is over. The sled helps our backs with their technique and ball security, but it also makes them tougher.

FULL SPEED DRILLS:
The Tackle-Breaker reduces the risk of injuring a live tackler. It trains players to lower their shoulders and maintain leg drive. It enhances toughness to take on tacklers physically larger. The more repetitions a player gets with the Tackle-Breaker in practice, the more tackles he can break during the game.

6 POWER-ARMS:
Each Power-Arm imitates a hand and forearm. They simulate defenders trying to wrap up the ball carrier. Only the Tackle-Breaker simulates the arms of six actual tacklers. The player must generate approximately 200 lbs. of force to break the arms open and escape. Your players will have to be explosive into the arms, break them open, and maintain body lean.
